The Dock Museum
Race Start: 9 am
Registration Opens: 7:30 am
The marathon route consists of 4 laps and takes advantage of the stunning promenade walkway. The route then ventures into a trail section through Barrow's old Slag banks which are remnants of the old steelworks that were once in operation.
From here the route then heads back along the coastal pathway towards the dock museum.
The 5km route will be separate from the 10km course and will be clearly marked out on race day. The maps on this page show both the 10km course and the 5km course.
The route is well marked with yellow arrows on a black background.
